Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Chemicals, Healthcare and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.01%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb), which rose 2.98% or 16.0 points to trade at 552.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CO:GEN) added 2.97% or 25.0 points to end at 866.5 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was up 2.63% or 7.3 points to 284.9 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which fell 1.84% or 4.3 points to trade at 229.7 at the close. TDC A/S (CO:TDC) declined 1.47% or 0.52 points to end at 34.86 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) was down 0.72% or 60 points to 8275.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 108 to 51 and 6 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 4.85% or 1.56 to $30.63 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 3.62% or 1.19 to hit $31.65 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 0.92% or 10.10 to trade at $1106.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.22% to 6.8943, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4630.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.11% at 99.50.
