Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Consumer Industry, Miscellaneous Industry and Manufacturing sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index added 0.24%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Indofarma Tbk (JK:INAF), which rose 32.50% or 52 points to trade at 212 at the close. Meanwhile, Sat Nusapersada Tbk (JK:PTSN) added 14.75% or 9 points to end at 70 and Lippo General Insurance Tbk (JK:LPGI) was up 14.44% or 650 points to 5150 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Jembo Cable Company Tbk (JK:JECC), which fell 10.00% or 195 points to trade at 1755 at the close. Indomobil Multi Jasa Tbk (JK:IMJS) declined 9.98% or 44 points to end at 441 and Golden Eagle Energy Tbk (JK:SMMT) was down 9.73% or 11 points to 102.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 158 to 153 and 45 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 4.98% or 1.55 to $29.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 3.63% or 1.12 to hit $29.76 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 0.81% or 8.70 to trade at $1082.30 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.67% to 13963.0, while AUD/IDR fell 1.71% to 9604.75.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.12% at 99.00.
