Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Insurance, Industrial Investment and Hotels & Tourism sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.59%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Tourism Enterprise Co. (SE:4170), which rose 10.77% or 4.60 points to trade at 47.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (SE:8180) added 9.27% or 2.90 points to end at 34.20 and Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (SE:8210) was up 8.89% or 10.25 points to 125.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Int Petrochemical Co (SE:2310), which fell 2.14% or 0.30 points to trade at 13.70 at the close. Saudi Arabia Fertilizers Co. (SE:2020) declined 2.11% or 1.75 points to end at 81.00 and Saudi vitrified clay pipes co. (SE:2360) was down 1.86% or 1.75 points to 92.25.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 115 to 51.
Shares in Saudi Int Petrochemical Co (SE:2310) fell to 5-year lows; losing 2.14% or 0.30 to 13.70.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.03% or 0.01 to $37.08 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 3.15% or 1.15 to hit $37.61 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 0.05% or 0.50 to trade at $1060.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.20% to 4.0752, while USD/SAR fell 0.07% to 3.7515.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.05% at 98.77.
