Philippines stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Property, Services and Mining & Oil sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Philippines, the PSEi Composite gained 0.53%.
The best performers of the session on the PSEi Composite were Ayala Land, which rose 3.45% or 1.100 points to trade at 33.000 at the close. Meanwhile, Intl Container added 3.33% or 2.000 points to end at 62.000 and Alliance Globa was up 1.82% or 0.260 points to 14.580 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were First Gen, which fell 2.38% or 0.50 points to trade at 20.50 at the close. Petron declined 2.00% or 0.190 points to end at 9.300 and San Miguel Cor was down 1.43% or 1.000 points to 69.000.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Philippines Stock Exchange by 101 to 64 and 36 ended unchanged.
Gold for April delivery was up 0.78% or 9.40 to $1219.50 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in April fell 2.61% or 0.87 to hit $32.52 a barrel, while the April Brent oil contract fell 2.22% or 0.77 to trade at $33.92 a barrel.
CNY/PHP was down 0.04% to 7.2969, while USD/PHP rose 0.02% to 47.620.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.14% at 97.24.
