A road show program for the Initial Public Offering (IPO) of Index Agro Industries under book building method was held recently at the Trust Milonayaton, Dhaka Cantonment, for issuing ordinary shares through Initial public offering (IPO) totaling to Tk. 400,000,000.00 under book building method subject to regulatory approvals.
Architect Md. Mazherul Quader, Chairman of the company delivered his speech. Amongst other Mr. Mahin Mazher, Managing Director, Mr. Mamunur Rashid FCMA, Director, Ms. Esha Rahman, Director, Mr. Mahbub H. Mazumder FCMA, Managing Director, AFC Capital Ltd, Mr. Moinul Hussain Asif, Managing Director, EBL Investments Ltd. and Mr. Saydur Rahman, President, Bangladesh Merchant Bankers Association spoke on the occasion.
In his speech Mr. Md. Mazherul Quader, Chairman of the company spoke about the ‘excellent progress’ of Index Agro Industries Ltd. and placed his appreciation to the employees, customers, lenders, suppliers and stakeholders for their indiscrete cooperation.
Mr. Mahin Mazher, the Managing Director of the company - illustrated the limitation of the Agro industry is facing, namely environmental threats, lack of skilled manpower and price volatility in both raw material and final products. He also mentioned some strategies that were in place to become resilient to those limitations.
Representatives from Dhaka Stock Exchanges, Chittagong Stock Exchanges, CDBL, Merchant Bankers, Stock dealers, Banks, Financial Institutions, NBFIs and senior officials of the company attended the program.
