Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Transport, Insurance and Agriculture & Food sectors led shares lower.


At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All-Share lost 1.48%.


The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Indian Company Insurance, which rose 9.77% or 1.50 points to trade at 16.85 at the close. Meanwhile, Amana Cooperative Insurance Co  added 8.33% or 0.80 points to end at 10.40 and Al-Ahlia Insurance Company was up 5.11% or 0.35 points to 7.20 in late trade.


The worst performers of the session were The Company for Coop. Insurance, which fell 9.91% or 8.50 points to trade at 77.25 at the close. Halwani Bros  declined 6.46% or 4.25 points to end at 61.50 and Saudi Industrial Investment Group was down 5.84% or 0.85 points to 13.70.


Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 136 to 26 and 6 ended unchanged.


Crude oil for June delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $41.71 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 1.67% or 0.73 to hit $43.11 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.75% or 9.20 to trade at $1235.70 a troy ounce.


EUR/SAR was up 0.15% to 4.2313, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7502.

The US Dollar Index was down 0.27% at 94.68
