European stocks close higher

LONDON: Europe's main stock markets closed higher Monday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index adding 0.30 per cent to 6,694.62 points.

Frankfurt's DAX 30 climbed 0.88 per cent to 9,299.95 points, while the CAC 40 in Paris rose 0.55 per cent to 4,301.97 points.
